It's always an exciting time when a style that may have been a little out there becomes more popular, and fashion leaders can pat themselves on the back for having the foresight to have been first adopters.

So here is the midi ring.  It's a ring worn on the first joint of the finger instead of the third, and it can look spectacular, especially worn in tandem with a complimentary ring on the third joint.  The idea has been around for a while; I suspect that it was initially worn that way because it just didn't fit otherwise.  It has now become a thing.

Here are links to one of them, another complimentary ring, and an "armour ring" (it's hinged and takes up the whole finger).
