Terms and Conditions
These terms of trade apply to all contracts for the supply of goods and services ("jewellery") made with Magpie.Kiwi and the person purchasing the goods and services. Any amendment or alteration must be agreed in writing.
Ordering, Returns and Availability
Although we carry some of our jewellery in stock, some of our jewellery is ordered specially for you. It may take up to four weeks to complete an order and up to a further two weeks for shipping from international designers, which means a delivery time of up to six weeks. However, most orders will be completed in a much shorter time, and jewellery held in stock will usually be dispatched within 2 working days.
Only if the jewellery does not meet the given specifications will you have the option of requesting a full refund. Please ensure that if you are ordering a ring you have chosen the correct size.
If an item of jewellery becomes unavailable for any reason after you have placed your order and made your payment, you will be advised and your money refunded in full.
Your satisfaction is important to us, and we endeavour to produce the best jewellery we can, of the best quality materials and workmanship.
If any jewellery you receive from us is defective, please contact us as soon as possible. On return of the jewellery with our receipted invoice enclosed, we will replace it, and reimburse your postal charges. You will not be charged postage a second time for the replacement jewellery. If you are returning faulty goods, please note that the risk in transit is yours until we receive the goods. Please make sure you send any returns insured and "signature required", or we will not be held responsible.
This policy covers how we use your personal information. We take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal information.
Any personal information received will only be used to fill your order. We will not sell or redistribute your information to anyone or send you unwanted communications
Payment is through PayPal, by Shopify payments, or by credit card. You may prefer an arrangement to pay by direct debit, just let me know.
Jewellery shipments under $200 will be sent by courier, tracked and signature required ($10). Rural delivery, tracked and signature required ($15). Shipments over $200 will be sent tracked, free of charge.
Shipments with a value under $100 can be sent by standard airmail ($12). Shipments with a value under $2000 can be sent by USPS, tracked ($32), and shipments with a value over $2000 will be sent by Express Courier, tracked and signature required, free of charge. Shipments sent without tracking are your responsibility once they leave our premises.
Rest of the World:
Shipments under $100 can be sent by ordinary USPS ($22 unless tracked International Courier ($57) is requested. Jewellery shipments with a value over $100 will be sent by International Courier. All jewellery over $2000 will be sent by Express Courier, tracked and signature required, free of charge. Jewellery sent without tracking is your responsibility once it leaves our premises.
We do not ship to P O Box numbers, only to street addresses.
Tax and Import Duty
We are not registered for GST so prices shown on our website are GST zero rated. All taxes and duties that may be applicable in countries outside the United States are your responsibility, as is any fee charged for customs clearance once the jewellery has left the United States.
